Scholarships

The Kennedale Education Foundation (KEF) is proud to offer four $2,000 scholarships to support the educational journey of Kennedale ISD students. Two scholarships will be awarded to students pursuing education at trade schools, and two will be awarded to students attending college or university. This scholarship aims to recognize well-rounded individuals who demonstrate strong achievements, community involvement, work ethic, and a commitment to their future success.

Application Guidelines:

Eligibility: This scholarship is only open to Kennedale High School seniors graduating in 2025. 

Award: Four scholarships, $2,000 each—two for trade school students, two for college-bound students.

Application Deadline: April 28, 2025

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

The ECLAT Foundation Scholarship provides one-year $2,000 scholarships to graduating seniors or college students that plan to or attend an accredited college or university in the State of Texas.

Eligibility Requirements

• Eligible applicants must be current graduating seniors or college students either currently residing in or who are past graduates of a high school in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Johnson, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, or Wise Counties.
• Must intend to pursue or are currently pursuing a baccalaureate degree at an accredited college or university in the state of Texas.
• College Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors may apply, but College Seniors are not eligible for consideration.
• Eligible applicants must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 or a college GPA of 3.0.
• Applicants must have a minimum SAT score of 960 or ACT score of 18.

It is with great pleasure that the City Federation supports the educational goals of the youth in our community. As an expression of our commitment to the youth, we offer a $1,500 college scholarship to African American graduating high school seniors (male or female) who have plans to continue their post-secondary education by attending a vocation/training institute, Junior College or College/University of their choice.

The Texas A&M Foundation Scholarship provides crucial financial assistance to qualifying students, including those from historically underserved groups, economically disadvantaged circumstances and underrepresented regions.

Perennial Cultural Club is offering a $1,500 scholarship to a graduating African American female high school senior who has plans to continue their post-secondary education by attending a College/University of their choice.

The PAF Chapter Student Scholarship is designed for high school athletes with intentions to attend a 2-year or 4-year college/university. The 3,000.00 scholarship rewards high school athletes for their non-athletic achievements and assist them in achieving their academic career goals. Students are not required to compete in collegiate athletics to receive this scholarship.
